Full Day Wine Tour Uco Valley (Lunch at Francis Mallmann's Siete Fuegos)

Your host will pick you up at the hotel heading to the Uco Valley region. Visit and tasting at Cuvelier Los Andes Winery. It belongs to Clos de los 7 group. An important French group. The winery has the technical advice of Michel Rolland.

Next, visit and tasting at Super Uco Winery. His owner and winemaker is Matias Michelini, he has a very special concept, looking for the palate with more vertical wines, no so gross,  and heavy us usually used to have the new world, his wines are young, simple, “ greener”  and magic from the Uco Valley.

Then, we will go to the amazing project The Vines of Mendoza, a project allowing individuals to buy their own vineyard and elaborate their wine. In this same place, the famous Argentinian chef Francis Mallmann decided to set Siete Fuegos, a restaurant with an incredible view to the mountains, where the specialty is the Argentinian barbecue. Siete Fuegos means “seven fires” in Spanish. In this case, it describes seven different techniques of open flame cooking inspired by Argentine gauchos and European migrations – tested and refined throughout 12,000 years of history. Francis Mallmann combines history and technique with his unique taste and elegant style.

Return to hotel.

"Boris and I really enjoyed our two excursions with our tour guide. The wine tasting trip was a good experience, especially as each winery offered a unique and different process to make high quality wines. The gourmet lunch was delicious! We had a beautiful day to visit the Andes. Our guide told us some interesting stories about the places we visited, especially the Puente del Inca, which was really fascinating. The short hike to see the mountain Aconcagua was fun! Overall, we are lucky and happy to have booked the tours with Aventura & Wine as the personalized and private tours were better than going in a big group with others. The price was reasonable and we are very glad to have those experiences. Argentina is a wonderful place to travel and our honeymoon has been much more than I expected because the people here have been friendly, helpful, and fun in every place we have traveled so far. Thank you for your help in organizing our excursions. We have beautiful memories of Mendoza and a bottle of wine to take home with us that we plan to open on our first wedding anniversary."
